The Martin HD-28V Vintage Dreadnought Guitar incorporates the most popular pre-war features into a vintage Herringbone D-2 format. Grained ivoroid bindings, forward-shifted scalloped bracing, butterbean tuning machines, and diamond-and-squares fingerboard inlay are combined to make an exceptional pre-war replica both in tone and appearance. |
| Vintage Series model, Indian rosewood & Sitka spruce body with ivoroid binding & herringbone top trim, modified V-shape neck (1-11/16" wide at nut), scalloped bracing (X crosses 1" below soundhole), ebony fretboard with diamond & square inlays, ebony bridge with long saddle, small maple bridge plate, Martin nickel Butterbean open tuning gears. Gloss body finish, aging toner on top, bevelled & polished tortoise pickguard. Case is "Geib" style deluxe wooden case with soft maroon interior. |
